My Story
Imagine having a brave space to discover your own unique intersectional identity and voice. Imagine how much confidence you would have in yourself. How great would that feel? I opened the doors to my practice to individuals seeking mental health services in the Athens, GA — offering them a wide range of counseling services to guide them through life’s challenges and most trying times.
Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional Licensed Clinical Social Worker can make the journey a little easier. I care about your well-being and provide you with the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic and challenging circumstances.

Experience You Can Count On
Masters of Social Work
I obtained a Certificate in Non-Profit Management. My internship experience was at an outpatient community-based agency that provides at-home therapy and assessments for behavioral and mental health disorders of children, teens, and adults/families in the Northeast Georgia.
Bachelors of Social Work
My internship experience was at an inpatient agency residential facility. Additional experiences were co-leading domestic violence groups and group home in Anderson, SC.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I have my LSCW licensure in the state of Georgia and Florida.
200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) under the Yoga Alliance. I teach gentle and trauma informed yoga at Revolution Yoga and Therapy.
I'm in the process of completing my 300-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through a Yoga Alliance approved curriculum.
Trauma Conscious Yoga Instructor
Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method integrates trauma-informed yoga therapy and somatic psychotherapy practices.
Prepare & Enrich Certification
The PREPARE/ENRICH Couple Program is a program for premarital and married couples who want to get their marriage off to a good start or enrich their marriage. The couple inventories and program have high levels of reliability, validity and clinical utility.
EMDR Therapy Basic Training
I am receiving supervision to eventually become EMDRIA certified, to follow-up my basic training in EMDR.
EMDR therapy is a phased, focused approach to treating traumatic and other symptoms by reconnecting the client in a safe and measured way to the images, self-thoughts, emotions, and body sensations associated with the trauma, and allowing the natural healing powers of the brain to move toward adaptive resolution.
Therapy for Birth Trauma - Level 1 & 2
Birth & Trauma Support Center provided training to provide mental health professionals information and education to best treat trauma from birth.
Sex Therapy
I'm under supervision by an AASECT approved supervisor and I'm still in training with the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes to become a Certified Sex Therapist (CST).
Sex Therapy is specialized psychotherapy for individuals or/and couples who need help with the emotional and psychological aspects of sex (i.e., medical, psychological, personal, or interpersonal factors).
